The MMS:Student Scheduling System enables you to efficiently scheduleyour students into year, semester, and term courses for an entire schoolyear. Initially, you record student course selections and print a set ofreports that includes course lists, tallies, and conflict matrices.Then, depending on the complexity of your course offerings and theavailable resources (e.g., rooms, teachers), you use either theMMS:Course Master Schedule Builder or the tally and conflict matrixreports to determine the number of sections and the best meeting timesfor your courses. Once the Course Master Schedule is built, you use thescheduler to automatically schedule your students in an optimal fashion(e.g., balancing enrollments, balancing semester courses within the samedepartment). When you're satisfied with your students' schedules, youuse the computer to automatically schedule any students with free timeinto study halls. Finally, you produce a set of scheduling documentsincluding a complete master schedule, student schedules, teacher and roomschedules, and class and study hall lists. ,
